Happy 10th Anniversary to Bridgend FAN!

"FAN has been meeting in Bridgend for 10 years and we were all keen to celebrate!

We had a little money in our coffers so decided to splash out and go to the Corvo lounge 2 minutes walk away from The Bridge where we meet every Monday. The mood was high and the choice on the menu was wide, Ann’s son Fran was visiting from Yorkshire and joined us – a new face is always an added bonus to any FAN group.

Ann and I have been running the group together since its first meeting on 10/6/15 when the topic was food! (Suspect that may be next weeks topic too).

I posed the question how many FAN meetings have we had taking into account Bank Holidays, the odd trips to Porthcawl and Maesteg and 2 separate 6 months break for Covid- where we were just in telephone contact. Answer 426 and surprising how close most were.

A very good time was had by all , we’ve had a good decade and look forward to the next one."
